Kacey Skaggs (she/her) was born outside of Washington, DC and has been living in Colorado since 2001. She earned her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate.
Kacey is drawn to the field of mental health by a strong belief in the power of human connection and the importance of honring each person's story. She holds a deep appreciation for the resilience people carry - often quietly, and believes in creating space for that strength to be seen and nurtured. She views therapy as a collaborative space where clients can slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of who they are and what they need. Her hope is that in this space, clients can begin to reconnect with their inner voice, rediscover their strengths, and write a new narrative grounded in authenticy and hope.
As a therapist, Kacey integrates a relational, humanistic, and culturally sensitive lens, often drawing from mindfulness-based and trauma-informed approaches. She believes our earliest relationships, lived experiences, and cultural identities all shape how we show up in the world (and in the therapy room). Her work is guided by curiosity, respect, and a deep commitment to walking alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges.
Whether you're working through identity exploration, relationship struggles, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck, Kacey strives to provide a space that feels warm, affirmin, and growth-oriented.
