* Jen is contracted with KCAPS only to provide services under our Medicaid (Health First Colorado) and commercial insurance (United Healthcare/United Behavioral Health, RMHP, Aetna, Cigna) contracts.
* Jen offers in-person services from an office in Colorado Springs.
* Current work days include Wednesday and Friday.
Jen (she/her) was born and raised in Colorado and earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate.
Jen believes that life has been her greatest teacher. Her work as a therapist is informed by meaningful personal experiences that have shaped her resilience, empathy, and reflective approach. She understands that growth is rarely linear and that imperfection is a natural part of the healing process. Jen provides a supportive, thoughtful space where clients can build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward sustainable growth and change.
Jen values therapy as a collaborative and nonjudgmental process. She strives to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered while utilizing a person-centered approach. Therapy with Jen is a team effort as she is here to guide, encourage, and walk alongside you as you reconnect with your voice, process your experiences, and honor both your pain and your resilience.
Those who know Jen describe her as authentic, down to earth, self-aware, resilient, and able to find humor even in difficult situations. She brings these qualities into the therapy space to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients are met with care and respect wherever they are on their journey.
Outside of the therapy space, Jen is a mom who values time with her children and the experiences they share together. She enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and appreciating everyday moments with her kids. In her free time, she also enjoys reading, walking, hiking, visiting the beach, and spending time with friends.
